History:
Bill Conway has been with CC Capital Advisors since its inception and leads the firms’ efforts in the Energy, Utility & Infrastructure industries. He has advised on over $10 billion of corporate buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions; and has worked with cooperative, investor owned and municipal utilities in the areas of electric distribution, generation and transmission, renewable generation, gas gathering and distribution, propane and water and wastewater infrastructure. Bill’s expertise is working with rural electric cooperatives, specifically focused on acquisitions, project financing, debt refinancing, divestitures and other strategic initiatives.
He has also presented at several utility seminars and forums and has been a guest lecturer at Rockhurst University’s Helzberg School of Management and the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law. Bill was included in 2008 by Ingram’s magazine’s 40 Under Forty class, which recognizes high achievers in the Kansas City community and is a 2006 graduate of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions Leadership Program.
Previously, Bill was a shareholder with the investment banking firm Christenberry Collet. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance/Economics and Marketing and a Master of Business Administration from Rockhurst University’s Helzberg School of Management.
Bill is on the Kansas City Area Development Council’s Advanced Energy Advisory Council, the Rockhurst University Board of Regents and a member of the Association for Corporate Growth.
